This new scale will be compatible with other 1:12 miniatures, specially with dollhouse furniture and such.

It's going to feature French and Flemish styles (Italian and German in the future) with many shapes and forms of stands, legs and decorations. Follow this blog to keep up to date!

About Leo Cerante

Born in the Bracknell forest area near the famous Ascot racecourse (UK), Leo moved to Brazil a few years later where he grew up. Leo is an Italian citizen, the fourth generation of a line of craftsman from his both families. He inherited from his Italian and Spanish backgrounds many of their century long customs including their proficiency in building things with their own hands. His Italian family is deeply rooted between Padova and Venezia (Padua and Venice), a region that sprouted many artists through centuries. His great-grandfather from his Spanish side, was an exceptionally skilled woodworker specialized in wood inlay among many other techniques. Leo spent uncountable hours with his father and grandfathers inside a workshop in his youth; A true "shop-rat"; though he is self taught on most the techniques he uses today. He spent years perfecting his skills through experimentation and research, building historical buildings from scratch and models of objects. He has a technical degree in general and furniture design by the European Institute of Design (Istituto Europeo di Design - IED) and he also spent a decade learning and perfecting his oil painting techniques. He also learned historical music performance in his youth where he had contact with his lifetime passion: The Harpsichord. He now dedicates his time painting real harpsichords and building miniatures of them among other projects.
