While working on a few side projects, I've also been busy working on many custom orders such as these below.
I spent many hours studying new painting techniques to improve on the miniature landscapes and painting reproductions by investing on a whole new set of tiny brushes and new ways to create a realistic miniature "oil" painting.

It's the second from my new collection to feature a seascape painting that has figures such as seamen and the fishermen; inspired by dutch painters, in this case Jan van de Cappelle. - In this miniature I implemented my new mini painting technique I developed recently that has extra fine details, special attention to colors and lighting and was inspired by 17th century Dutch painter Willem van de Velde (one among my favorites). This striking marine scene contrasts perfectly with the luxurious vermillion-gold of the external case and stand and looks absolutely stunning in person. It turned out to be one of my personal favorite miniatures I made so far.
